🌍 The History of Israel and Palestine Conflict
The History of Israel and Palestine Conflict: A Story of Pain, Resistance, and Faith
The land of Palestine has always been more than just a piece of earth. It is the land where prophets walked, where the call of Islam echoed with glory, and where people lived with dignity for centuries.
But today, when we hear the name Palestine, what comes to our mind? War, destruction, blood, and tears. And when we hear the name Gaza, we no longer imagine children laughing in the streets. We imagine a place turned into a graveyard of innocent souls.
This is not just a political conflict. This is a story of humanity being crushed, and faith refusing to fall.
Backstory of Palestine ✨
Palestine has been a land of beauty, faith, and culture for thousands of years. For Muslims, it holds Masjid Al-Aqsa, the third holiest site in Islam, mentioned in the Qur’an itself.
For centuries, Palestinians lived peacefully. Farmers worked their olive fields, families prayed under the sky of Allah, and children played in the streets of Jerusalem.
But in the 20th century, everything changed.
Backstory of Israel
In the early 1900s, the Zionist movement began. Their goal was to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine. Backed by British promises and later the United Nations, Israel was declared a state in 1948.
But this “creation” was not peaceful. It came through massacres, fear, and the forced expulsion of Palestinians from their homes.
For Palestinians, 1948 is remembered as Nakba — The Catastrophe. Over 700,000 Palestinians were displaced, their homes stolen, their villages burned.
One old Palestinian woman once said:
“They took our home, our olive trees, our memories. They left us with nothing but our tears.”
The Wars That Changed Everything 🔥
1948 – The First Arab-Israeli War
The day Israel was declared a state, war broke out. Palestine’s Arab brothers – Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq – rushed to defend the land. But with Western backing, Israel grabbed even more land than it was given. Palestine was left bleeding, broken, divided.
1956 – The Suez Crisis
Israel, Britain, and France attacked Egypt. This exposed Israel’s aggressive hunger for power and land.
1967 – The Six-Day War
In just 6 days, Israel captured Gaza, West Bank, East Jerusalem, Golan Heights, and Sinai. Thousands of Palestinians were again forced from their homes.
One Palestinian man cried:
“We lost our homes again. We lost our prayers. We lost everything, but we did not lose Allah.”
1973 – The Yom Kippur War
Egypt and Syria tried to regain lost lands. For a moment, hope rose. But once again, global powers sided with Israel, crushing that hope.
The Intifadas – The Uprisings ✊
-
First Intifada (1987–1993): Palestinians, with nothing but stones in their hands, rose against tanks and bullets. Their message was simple: “Enough!”
-
Second Intifada (2000–2005): This time, Israel answered with even more brutality — airstrikes, killings, mass arrests. Gaza became what it is today — a prison and a graveyard.
Gaza: From Life to a Graveyard
-
Food and medicine are blocked.
-
Electricity is cut.
-
Water is poisoned.
-
Airstrikes rain death on homes, schools, even hospitals.
Children in Gaza sleep not knowing if they will wake up alive.
A mother once whispered to her baby during a bombing:
“Sleep, my child. If the bombs take us, Allah will take care of us.”
This is not a “conflict” anymore. This is genocide.
Why Israel is Seen as the Villain 😡
-
They stole land through massacres.
-
They bomb schools, hospitals, and refugee camps.
-
They treat Palestinians as if their lives have no value.
-
They turned Gaza into a symbol of pain and death.
The Glory of Islam and the Promise of Allah 🌙
The Qur’an reminds us:
“Do not think Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them until a Day when eyes will star in horror.”
Tyrants rise and fall. Empires built on injustice collapse. And so will Israel’s oppression.
Palestinians believe in something stronger than tanks and bombs: the justice of Allah.
As Indians, What Can We Do?
-
Raise Your Voice 🗣️ – Speak on social media. Share the truth. Don’t let propaganda silence Palestine’s pain.
-
Boycott Products 🚫 – Avoid companies that openly support Israeli aggression. Small actions, when done by millions, create big impact.
-
Donate 💰 – Support verified charities that send food, medicine, and aid to Gaza. Even a little amount can save a life.
-
Educate 📚 – Tell your friends, family, and communities about the real history. Awareness is power.
-
Pray 🤲 – Never underestimate the power of dua. Pray for Palestine in every namaz, in every quiet moment.
As Indians, we know what it means to fight colonialism and injustice. Supporting Palestine is not just a Muslim cause — it’s a human cause.
Final Words 🌍
When the world forgets, Allah does not.
When the world is silent, the prayers of mothers in Gaza reach the heavens.
Palestine will rise again. Gaza will live again. And oppressors will face the justice of Allah.
✊ Free Palestine. Always. Forever.
